Ingredients:
Cookies:
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 1 tsp.vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Glaze Icing:
- 1 1/2 cups icing sugar
- 3 Tbsp. milk
- 1/8 tsp. almond extract
- 3 drops of food colouring

Directions:
Cookies:
- With electric mixture, beat sugar, butter, and vanilla until mixture is creamy. Scrape down the side of the bowl. Add eggs beating after each egg.
- In a separate bowl combine flour, baking powder, and alt. Beat the dry ingredients into the creamy mixture.
- Roll out dough on a lightly floured pan. Do not roll dough. Use cookie cutters of your choice for different shapes.
- Bake cookies at 350 degrees F. for 10 min or until the cookies turn a golden brown.
Icing:
- Combine icing sugar with milk to reach desired consistency. Stir in food colouring or leave it white.
- Using a pastry brush paint frosting over the cookies and decorate with whatever you like.
