The first episode of Grey’s Anatomy was released on March 27, 2005. Grey’s Anatomy is the 8th longest running show in the United States. This TV drama focuses on group of Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital which eventually get’s called Grey Sloan Presbyterian Hospital. On of the doctors, and the shows namesake, Meredith Grey, is a daughter of a famous surgeon. Meredith struggles to maintain her relationships with her colleges, particularly the hospital’s chief of surgery Richard Weber, due to a pre existing relationship between them. This show follows the life of multiple surgeons who go on a journey through their medical careers.
